This term is all about Castles! Spring term
Ellie has been having fun so far with our castle topic. Ellie the Dragon slayer with her crafted shield. Ellie has also been very busy creating her own castle and a fire breathing dragon.

Spring term (Topic) 4.1.21
This term the children are learning about different animal habitats.
week 1 & 2 we will be focusing on Polar Regions.
week 3 - Woodland animals
week 4 - Jungle animals
week 5 - Under the sea
week 6 - Desert and Savannas.

Topic -
(Week 2) Polar Regions - This week the children have been learning about polar regions and animals that can be found there. We have also been reading the story 'Lost and Found'. Take a look at class ones page for some Polar region ideas.
(Week 3) Woodland Animals - This week we are focusing on different animals that live in woodlands. We are reading the story Percy the park keeper after the storm.

Primrose and Esmae have been busy measuring different items around their home using a certain number of Duplo.
They have also had a go at doing pointillism creating amazing under the sea pictures! Well done girls we are super proud!
Ellie made an underwater scene. It is beautiful!
Carter has been working hard with his writing.
He has made his own Percy the park keeper Story book. He found a woodland image on the internet to have a go at drawing himself.

Esmae and Primrose have been busy finding 3D shapes around their home.
Esmae has done some Brilliant writing about a recipe for a good friendship.

Esmae really enjoyed the story 'Percy the park keeper, after the storm'. Her favourite part was when the wheelbarrow fell into the river. Esmae decided she wanted to make a boat.
What an amazing idea! Well done!
